An employee benefits consulting firm in Elk Grove Village is looking for temporary Client Services Representative to support them during their upcoming busy season. This person will assist with the client renewal process and serve as a key contact for employer groups and clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Process employee benefit enrollments, terminations, and coverage changes
• Administer COBRA and HSA accounts
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and employee benefit data
• Respond to employee inquiries via email regarding benefits and account access
• Coordinate with 20+ insurance carriers to manage employee eligibility and access
• Set up and terminate user accounts on carrier websites
• Assist employees with benefit portal logins and account access issues
• Review and validate carrier billing for accuracy
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative benefit transactions
• Building and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and reporting

• Managing benefits administration platforms (Employee Navigator preferred)
• Troubleshooting benefit and eligibility issues
• Collaborating internally with eligibility, enrollment, and service teams

Requirements:

• Employee benefits experience
• Experience working for a benefits broker/consulting agency
• Experience working directly with carriers
• Strong understanding of carrier networks and plan designs
• Experience of presenting recommendations to clients
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to thrive during Q4 open enrollment season
• Stable work history with demonstrated tenure
