Beacon Hill Legal is seeking legal professionals for a temporary assignment supporting our client in Lake Charles, LA. Mileage, accommodations & per diem will be provided for non-local candidates who live within a 250 mile radius from Lake Charles, LA (70601).
Our client is seeking detail-oriented legal professionals to assist with a short-term legal file indexing project. This fully onsite position will focus exclusively on reviewing physical file boxes and indexing records. Onsite training will be provided at the start of the assignment.
Responsibilities
- Review and organize physical legal files contained within records boxes
- Index files according to project guidelines and procedures
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the indexing process
- Handle and organize records in a consistent and efficient manner
Qualifications
- Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional work experience required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow established procedures and instructions
- Comfortable working with physical records and file materials
- Ability to lift boxes and remain standing for extended periods throughout the workday
Schedule
- Anticipated start date: September 22
- Anticipated duration: 1 week
Location
- Fully onsite in Lake Charles, Louisiana
Pay
- $26.00 per hour
- Mileage reimbursement, per diem and accommodations will be provided for non-local candidates who reside within a 250 mile radius from Lake Charles, LA (70601).
