The Atlanta office of a national law firm is seeing a Sr. Litigation Paralegal for a permanent, direct-hire position.
To be considered, candidates must have at least ten years of experience as a billing paralegal and have been involved in all phases of litigation including trial preparation, and ideally, attending trial. Excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to prioritize, manage critical deadlines, and multitask are important in this position. Strong technical skills, including MS Office Suite and experience with Summation, Concordance or other litigation support required.
Your responsibilities as a Litigation Paralegal at this leading firm will include:
- Performing legal research
- Calendaring
- Assisting with discovery
- Preparing deposition materials and summaries
- Cite-checking
- Interviewing witnesses
- Drafting legal documents and e-filing with state and federal courts
- Assisting with exhibits
- Managing paper and electronic files
- Maintaining deposition database
- Preparing for and attending depositions, arbitrations, trials and hearings
