Senior Accountant-first hire in the US for global organization

My client, a global PE backed cybersecurity firm in NYC, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team. You would be the first accounting hire in the US and a foundational member of the growing finance team. This is a high impact role where you will help establish the financial infrastructure that scales the firm. You will work closely with the Director of Finance, who sits in Israel, but partner closely with the CFO who is local to the NYC office. This role is very hands on as you will own the General Ledger for the US entities, posting and reviewing journal entities, and maintaining intercompany entries across the global structure, You will own the US close process, managing accruals, prepaid expenses, and deferred revenue. Additionally you will oversee AP & AR, monthly bank reconciliations across all accounts, and actively use AI tools to automate and improve accuracy-seeing AI as a force multiplier. NetSuite experience is ideal and a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in accounting preferably in a fast paced, high growth Tech/SaaS environment.
