Beacon Hill is a proud partner to a reputable Law Firm. We are currently hiring an Senior Legal Collections Coordinator. This role is 100% remote
Responsibilities/Duties
The responsibilities of the Senior Legal Collections Coordinator are, but are not limited to:
- Manage the full-cycle collections process for a portfolio of attorney and client accounts.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, partners, and high-net-worth clients regarding outstanding balances and payment status.
- Analyze aged receivable reports and prioritize collection efforts to reduce delinquent balances and improve cash flow.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for collections activities and departmental workflows.
- Leverage Aderant to monitor, track, and report on collection activity and AR performance.
- Create and maintain ad hoc reports related to aging, collections performance, cash receipts, and receivable trends.
- Partner with attorneys to develop collection strategies for complex or sensitive client matters.
- Research billing disputes, payment discrepancies, and client concerns to facilitate resolution.
- Monitor trust and estate receivables and ensure collection efforts align with firm policies and client expectations.
Requirements
- Experience with collections at a Law Firm or in the Professional Services industry
- Experience with running reports in Excel
