Customer Service Representative

Location: Minneapolis, MN
Pay Rate: $21-$22/hour
Duration: 6-Month Contract

Position Overview

Beacon Hill is partnering with a respected organization in Minneapolis to identify a Customer Service Representative for a six-month contract opportunity. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer support by responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, billing, and account-related matters.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints through appropriate research and problem-solving.
• Process account adjustments, refunds, and related service transactions.
• Communicate claim investigation results and provide updates regarding resolutions or next steps.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department for further review and investigation.
• Accurately document customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions.
• Maintain professionalism and deliver high-quality customer service in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-4 years of customer service experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience accurately documenting customer information and interactions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
