Position Summary
Beacon Hill is seeking an analytical Data Analyst to support strategic growth and operational initiatives within a fast-moving Pro Trade Credit environment. This role combines data analysis, operational research, customer support, process improvement, and ownership of small-to-medium projects.
The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of data, project, or program analysis experience and is comfortable investigating problems, working through ambiguity, and turning data into actionable recommendations.
Position Details
- Pay Rate: $28-$34/hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday; preferred 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Work Arrangement: Onsite
- Start Date: Immediately
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ad hoc data analysis and build reporting to support business and operational decisions
- Research operational issues and conduct root-cause analysis to identify problems and improvement opportunities
- Monitor customer application pipelines from submission through approval and onboarding
- Track pilot activity, customer progression, and operational performance
- Identify trends, process gaps, and potential workflow improvements
- Develop and test solutions designed to improve operational efficiency
- Support customer-service needs and resolve business process issues
- Own small-to-medium projects and workstreams from analysis through execution
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and results to cross-functional partners
- Help improve reporting, workflows, and existing business processes

- Google BigQuery
- SQL
- Spreadsheet-based data analysis
- Laptop provided
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, Data Analyst, Project Analyst, Program Analyst, or similar analytical role
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to structure an analysis and work through problems without having every detail provided upfront
- Experience researching operational issues and identifying root causes
- Ability to manage small-to-medium projects or initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to work effectively with ambiguous or open-ended assignments
- SQL and/or Google BigQuery experience preferred, but not required
- Must be based in the Atlanta area and available for onsite training during the first 1-2 weeks
