Our client, a nonprofit organization, is seeking an Engagement Associate to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Manage stakeholder engagement, program initiatives, and multiple projects from planning through execution
- Coordinate in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings, workshops, roundtables, forums, and events
- Manage project plans, budgets, vendors, participant recruitment, event promotion, and logistics
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
- Prepare presentations, reports, research, and project documentation
- Maintain stakeholder records, engagement metrics, contracts, invoicing schedules, and CRM/event-management systems
- Collaborate across teams while managing competing priorities and deadlines
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of progressive stakeholder outreach, event management, and project management experience
- Experience independently managing projects, events, budgets, vendors, and stakeholder relationships
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; CRM and event-management systems experience preferred
- Interest in health, science, regulatory practice, or government operations preferred
About The Position:
- Date: ASAP!
- Temp-to-perm
- $30-$40/hr
- Permanent Salary: $75K-$90K
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days onsite; additional onsite days may be required depending on events, workload, or deadlines
