Our client, a cultural nonprofit organization, is seeking a Special Events Manager for a fast-paced, high-volume events department supporting internal and external programs, including cultural, corporate, and private events. This temp-to-perm role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing approximately 3-4 events per week, managing logistics end-to-end, conducting walkthroughs, supporting on-site execution, and serving as a primary point of contact for internal partners, clients, and vendors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a deadline-driven environment, with experience in vendor management, budgeting, and client-facing event work. This is a full-time, on-site role (40 hours/week) with standard hours of 9:00 AM-5:30 PM and flexibility required for early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends. The position offers an hourly rate of up to $36.05/hour and the opportunity to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
