Our client, a privately-held global industrial company located in Manhattan is looking for Temporary Office Services support to join their team. This in an open ended position and will be in-office schedule between 8:30am-3:00pm (30 hours per week). Compensation is up to $30/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting partners, vendors, and guests
- Stock beans/pods in Breville/Nespresso, brew coffee, and manage general maintenance for machines
- Stock pantry (first thing in the morning, before lunch, before end of day):
- Dry (bars, nuts, oatmeal, nut butters, teas)
- Refrigerated (milks, yogurts, sodas, cold brew etc)
- Fruit (discard spoiled or overripe items)
- Water for meetings (Smart and Pellegrino)
- Miscellaneous (napkins, paper towels, sugar packets, straws, stir sticks)
- Take inventory of pantry and place order with Fresh Direct. Put groceries away upon arrival
- Load and unload dishwashers in the morning and before end of day
- Wipe down tables, countertops, high touch areas and clean appliances (inside refrigerator, microwave, espresso machines, etc)
- Check pantry and refrigerator for expired foods
- Conference Rooms Check – ensure rooms are clean and tidy
- Stock toiletries in restrooms
- Put away/stock office supplies and restroom toiletries when WB Mason arrives
- Take inventory of office supplies and place orders
- Check freight area for deliveries (including mail, meals, packages) and distribute to/ notify employee or inform EA
- Keep the office organized and tidy
- Set up water in conference rooms for external guests
- Setting up / breaking down catered meetings
- Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc tasks
- Communicating with 9W57 Reception / Office Services & Facilities Manager regarding: Fresh Direct orders, office supplies orders, facilities matters, visitor registration
- Support office uptown and travel onsite as needed
Qualifications:
- Punctuality/Attendance – arrive at work on time ready to perform responsibilities
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task/prioritize in fast paced, deadline driven environment with minimal direction
- Strong communication skills (written and interpersonal) and must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management
- Demonstrates initiative and proactive attitude
- Exceptional problem solving and adaptability skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, team player
- Professional and discreet manner
- Delivers outstanding customer service with sense of urgency
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 25 lbs.
