Job Overview
A reputable nonprofit organization is seeking a Career Development Specialist to support individuals in achieving their employment goals through career readiness programming and job placement services. This role focuses on providing hands-on coaching, training, and job search support to help participants secure and maintain long-term employment. The position offers free parking and benefits!
Key Responsibilities
- Support and facilitate workshops, orientations, and general training initiatives
- Provide guidance and support to individuals throughout their employment journey
- Assist with job search efforts and overall career development activities
- Partner with internal teams and external contacts to support placement efforts
- Maintain ongoing communication to monitor progress and provide continued support
- Complete required documentation, reporting, and tracking in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
