Our client, a small concierge-style healthcare practice, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Administrative Assistant / Patient Services Coordinator to support front desk operations and deliver an exceptional patient experience in a personalized medical office setting. This role is paying $24/hour and is fully onsite in Chestnut Hill, MA, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. Job Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls, take messages, and assist patients with inquiries
- Greet patients and oversee check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule appointments and maintain provider calendars
- Update and maintain patient records within the EMR system
- Support daily front desk operations and general office organization
- Ensure a positive, professional, and seamless patient experience
- Collaborate with the physician and clinical staff to support office workflows
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed
Candidate Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of administrative, receptionist, front desk, or patient services experience
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Experience with EMR systems, including Athenahealth or Epic, strongly preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional phone presence and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a small, collaborative office environment
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
