This onsite Property Manager position in the Boston area offers a hands-on opportunity with a growing real estate firm. The role is temp-to-perm, operates Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM-5:30 PM. The position blends building operations, tenant relations, and administrative financial support in a dynamic, fast-scaling environment. Competitive pay is offered (not specified), along with free parking at a nearby property. This position is paying $35/hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary onsite contact for building operations and 24/7 emergencies
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and vendor/contractor coordination
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections and oversee building systems (HVAC, elevators, security, etc.)
- Maintain vendor contracts, COIs, and approve invoices for Accounts Payable
- Act as a main point of contact for tenants; manage service requests, access, and communication
- Track rent, CAM reconciliations, and support tenant billing and reporting
- Provide front-desk/lobby coordination, including visitor management and mail handling
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas and coordinate janitorial services
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial documentation
- Support portfolio-level administration, reporting, acquisitions, and project coordination
- Utilize property management systems (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar)
Candidate Qualifications:
- Experience in property management, facilities management, or real estate operations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage vendors, contractors, and tenant relationships professionally
- Basic understanding of budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting
- Comfort working onsite full-time with local travel between properties
- Willingness to be on call for emergencies as needed
- Familiarity with property management software (Yardi, MRI, RealPage preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills for tenant-facing responsibilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growing environment
