Our client, a nonprofit professional association, is seeking a Receptionist to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Manage the front desk and serve as the first point of contact for visitors, guests, and staff
- Answer and route calls, coordinate mail and deliveries, and maintain a polished reception area
- Provide exceptional customer service in a highly professional, executive-facing environment
- Coordinate visitor arrivals, conference room scheduling, and office logistics
- Support administrative projects, meetings, and day-to-day office operations as needed
- Assist with visitor management systems and event preparations to ensure smooth office operations
About You:
- 2+ years of receptionist, administrative, or office support experience
- Professional, polished, and welcoming demeanor
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a visible front-facing role and maintaining reliable onsite attendance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
- Experience in a corporate office, professional services, law firm, or executive environment preferred
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $20-$25/hr
- Fully onsite
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
