Our client, a global real estate and facilities management firm located in Poughkeepsie, NY is looking for a Long-Term Temporary Facilities Coordinator to join their team. This position will operate August 2026 through November 30th on an in-office, Monday-Friday schedule between the hours of 7am-3:30pm. Role covers a maternity leave. Compensation is up to $27/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for, monitor the performance of, and coordinate a small team of multi-skilled operatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with client stakeholders, landlords, managing agents, and vendors
- Assist in managing contractors to ensure performance standards are met
- Assist with procurement of vendors and services
- Support financial processes and ensure timely and accurate completion of financial requirements
- Manage purchase orders in the internal financial management platform
- Assist with monthly accrual reports and finance trackers
- Conduct site inspections, assessments, audits, and safety procedures
- Support property risk management programs and operational best practices
- Maintain premises in clean and operational condition
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Follow escalation and incident reporting procedures
- Assist with management reports and special projects
- Achieve KPI and SLA targets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Self-motivated with a confident and energetic attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and remain flexible
- CMMS experience preferred
