Our client, a financial services organization, is seeking an Investment and Operations Manager to join their team on a temporary basis for a few months with potential to go permanent in Bethesda, Maryland.
About The Job:
- Lead strategic initiatives across Operations, Technology, Portfolio Operations, Project Management, and Client Services
- Drive operational excellence through process improvement, governance, risk management, and cross-functional execution
- Oversee vendor relationships, contract governance, and cost optimization efforts
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and resource planning across multiple business areas
- Lead organizational change initiatives and improve systems, workflows, and operational infrastructure
- Partner with senior leadership to execute firm priorities and support long-term business growth
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in investment management, operations, portfolio operations, and/or technology
- Proven success leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a regulated investment management environment
- Strong experience with operational excellence, process improvement, project management, and change management
- Executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Temporary for a few months, with potential to extend or convert.
- $55-$65/hr
- Permanent Salary: $150K-$175K
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
- Bethesda, MD
