Business Analyst – Real Estate Portfolio Strategy (Contract)

Our client, a leading global real estate firm, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team supporting operations across the United States and Mexico. This is a maternity leave expecting to last 12-15 months, with an anticipated start in September. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic real estate initiatives within a global organization while working alongside experienced professionals on high-impact portfolio decisions.
The Business Analyst will play a key role in evaluating and optimizing real estate portfolios, delivering strategic insights, and supporting senior stakeholders with data-driven recommendations. This position is ideal for candidates who combine strong analytical capabilities with real estate consulting experience and the ability to communicate complex findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis using data from multiple sources.
  • Develop client-ready presentations and strategic recommendations for executive audiences.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and client-facing discussions.
  • Assess real estate portfolios from both a macro and micro perspective, including:
    • Portfolio strategy and market positioning
    • Location optimization and footprint planning
    • City-level market analysis
    • Leasing strategy and decision support
    • Property performance evaluation
  • Translate complex data into actionable business and real estate recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Consulting experience is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data interpretation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.
  • Proven project planning and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within commercial real estate, corporate real estate, or real estate consulting.
  • Experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
