This temporary full-time opportunity offers 40 hours per week (approximately 30-35 hours/week noted in the description) in Boston, MA with a higher education/career services organization. The assignment runs from September 2026 through April 2027 with a strong possibility of extension. The pay for this role is $24/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Internships and Industry Partnerships in developing a newly formed internships and employer engagement team
  • Create and implement procedures, systems, and materials to streamline internship programs and resources
  • Assist with the integration of a new internship platform, including staff training and support
  • Respond to employer inquiries regarding internship programs
  • Promote nonprofit internship opportunities to employers and students
  • Track program budgets and funding allocations
  • Coordinate and process student applications for internship program cycles
  • Support program development and operational activities for future internship programs

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience with internship, career services, higher education, or program administration preferred
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures
  • Experience with training, systems implementation, or platform adoption preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Budget tracking and program administration experience preferred
