Front Desk Receptionist – 20/hr
Job Summary
The organization is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for tenants, applicants, vendors, and visitors. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties that support the daily operations of the office.
The ideal candidate is organized, personable, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining a welcoming and professional office atmosphere.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greeting tenants, applicants, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
- Assist applicants and tenants with general questions and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
- Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars as assigned.
- Maintain an organized and welcoming front reception area.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Scan, copy, file, and organize paper and electronic documents.
- Assist with preparing forms, letters, and other office correspondence.
- Provide general administrative support to office staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of tenant, applicant, and agency information.
- Order and organize office supplies as needed.
- Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer applications.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including multi-line telephone systems, copiers, scanners, and printers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
Reliability and Attendance Expectations
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
- Must be dependable and maintain a consistent work schedule.
- Ability to work independently while also supporting the office team.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
