Our client, a international nonprofit organization, is seeking a Fundraising Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis with potential to extend in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Coordinate donor reporting, proposal development, and fundraising activities
- Draft, edit, and quality-control donor reports, proposals, and donor communications
- Manage reporting calendars, donor records, funding pipelines, deadlines, and submission tracking
- Conduct donor research and prepare briefing materials, presentations, and meeting logistics
- Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant donor deliverables
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, grant administration, proposal development, or nonprofit operations
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong project coordination, organization, and deadline management abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills required; Salesforce or CRM experience preferred
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing confidential information
- Experience with donor reporting, fundraising, business development, or proposal support highly preferred
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $23-$26/hr
- Permanent Salary: $53K-$60K
- 9-month leave coverage with strong potential to extend
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
