Our client, a prestigious law firm located in the Financial District, Manhattan is seeking to hire a Long-Term Temporary Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Global Recruiting, Inclusion & Culture Director and related teams. This position will start in early September 2026 for roughly six months with potential to extend, from 9:30-5:30pm daily with availability before and after hours as needed.
This is an exciting, blended role that includes administrative responsibilities tied to both the Recruiting function as well as the Culture/Inclusion firm function, while providing individual support to the Director in her day-to-day duties!
This role requires exceptional professionalism, customer service, and the ability to support multiple stakeholders while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and a high level of responsiveness. Pay rate is up to $55/hour DOE.
Responsibilities:
- Complex calendar management across multiple time zones
- Meeting and event coordination
- Travel and expense processing
- Invoice management
- Document preparation and confidential file maintenance
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, manage team communications, and support recruiting and inclusion initiatives
- Administrative support for candidate interviews
- Assist with affinity group programs, summer associate activities, firmwide events, and more
- Additional responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, finance, marketing, HR, and global offices; maintaining data, reports, and budgets; and ensuring the smooth execution of recruiting and inclusion programs.
Qualifications:
- Strong administrative support experience, preferably in a professional services or legal environment
- Exceptional organizational, scheduling, and multitasking skills
- Experience coordinating meetings, events, travel, expenses, and invoices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and virtual meeting platforms
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities simultaneously
