Our client, a leading healthcare organization in Brookline, MA, is seeking a Patient Experience Representative for a 10-12 week contract opportunity. This fully onsite role pays $22/hour and follows a Monday-Friday schedule of 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, with flexibility required for occasional shifts from 10:30 AM-7:00 PM. The Patient Experience Representative will serve as the first point of contact for patients, supporting front desk operations, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative tasks while delivering an outstanding patient experience. Job Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Verify patient demographic and insurance information
- Collect copays, process payments, and provide receipts
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient inquiries
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
- Manage patient portal messages and route requests appropriately
- Assist patients with paperwork and appointment preparation
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and office staff
- Perform data entry, filing, and document management
- Support the overall organization and efficiency of the office
Candidate Qualifications
- Previous healthcare experience required
- Strong customer service and patient-facing experience
- Experience scheduling appointments and handling high-volume phone calls
- Familiarity with patient registration and insurance verification preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required; EMR experience preferred
