Our client, a well establishes independent school is seeking an Executive Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Provide high-level support to the Director of Middle and Upper School, managing complex calendars, scheduling, communications, travel, expenses, and special projects
- Coordinate school programs, parent conferences, grade-level trips, employee searches, and school-wide events
- Prepare meeting materials, presentations, notes, and communications while partnering with faculty, administrators, parents, and students
- Manage event logistics, catering, RSVPs, and school calendar planning
- Support school operations, faculty responsibilities, Front Office functions, and special initiatives as needed
- Serve as a proactive thought partner who can anticipate needs, improve processes, and manage multiple priorities independently
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required
- 5+ years of executive support, project management, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong calendar management, event coordination, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace required; Blackbaud experience is a plus
- Tech-savvy with an interest in AI and leveraging technology to improve efficiency
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- High emotional intelligence, strong attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information
- Mission-driven, collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $34-$44/hr
- Permanent Salary: $75K-$95K
- 100% onsite
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
- Occasional evening and weekend hours required
- Free on-site and nearby parking available
