This Tenant Coordinator opportunity offers $27/hour on a temporary basis with potential for permanent hire. The position is 100% onsite in Boston within the commercial real estate/property management industry. Standard hours are 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, though candidates must be flexible to start as early as 7:30 AM for meetings and event setup. The ideal candidate will have commercial real estate experience, strong customer service skills, event coordination experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the management office
- Answer and direct incoming calls
- Provide administrative support to property management and building operations teams
- Calculate and manage tenant billings, utilities, work orders, and service requests
- Prepare and review monthly rent statements
- Communicate with tenants and vendors
- Maintain work order and visitor management systems
- Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, loading dock, and freight reservations
- Manage Certificates of Insurance documentation
- Process and code invoices
- Respond to and track tenant requests
- Coordinate vendor services and communicate building impacts
- Support tenant, building, and community events
- Coordinate catering, room setups, and event logistics
- Conduct property inspections
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of commercial real estate or property management experience preferred
- Event planning or coordination experience required
- Strong customer service background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
- Professional demeanor and sound judgment
- Team-oriented with a friendly, collaborative approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced office setting
