About the Job
- Partner closely with the HR Director to manage essential HR functions, with a strong focus on benefits, leave administration, recruitment, and onboarding
- Administer employee benefits and leave programs, including employee support, benefit changes, open enrollment, etc.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, process employee status changes and separations, and support payroll data accuracy.
- Help implement HR policies and support compliance.
- Prepare HR reports and contribute to projects supporting employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 5+ years of human resources experience required, ideally in a legal or corporate environment.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Experience using an HRIS required; Paylocity experience is preferred.
About the Position
- Salary: $80,000 to $85,000 + benefits.
- Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days on site in Richmond, Virginia.
- Reporting relationship: Reports to and works closely with HR Director.
