Our client is seeking a Call Center Representative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Richmond, Virginia.
About The Job:
- Provide customer service support in an inbound contact center with a focus on insurance claims
- Assist customers with initiating claims and answering questions regarding claims, policies, and accounts
- Provide timely and accurate assistance to customers and business partners by phone, email, and/or chat
- Explain and help resolve complex customer inquiries while delivering a positive service experience
- Navigate multiple systems while handling approximately 35-50 inbound calls per day
- Meet established contact center service and quality standards
- Complete required training and cross-training to support additional product areas
About You:
- 1+ year of call center/customer service experience preferred
- Previous financial services or insurance experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Strong customer service mindset with active listening and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Must be available for the entire first 6 weeks of training with no time off
- Must have reliable wired internet that meets the required technical specifications
About The Position:
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
- 1-year contract through November 19, 2027
- Potential for permanent conversion
- $20/hr
- Must be available between 8:00 AM-7:00 PM ET
