Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support continued growth of the organization. This role offers a clear path to advancement into a future Controller position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities
- Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records
- Support process improvements and accounting system enhancements
- Partner with leadership on financial analysis and operational initiatives
Requirements:
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Background in a law firm, CPA firm, consulting firm, or other professional services organization
- Experience with AP, AR, payroll, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Clio
- Understanding of trust accounting, settlement disbursements, and Advanced Client Costs (ACC)
- Experience with payment process improvements and electronic payment implementations
