Title: Cash Applications / Collections Specialist
Location: Smyrna TN
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $21-22/hour
Type: Contract to Hire
Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm CT | Monday – Friday
Note: Once a month you will have to work 1-2 hours on a Saturday
Onsite: 100 % on-site. No remote functions
REQUIREMENTS: CASH APPLICATIONS / COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST
* Intermediate excel skills
* 2+ years of experience in cash applications
* 2+ years of AR experience
* Computer software proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
* Familiarity with accounting software: Currently using ASI, Syspro, and Excel.
* Research open receiving and pricing issues – communicating with receiving / purchasing / managers for resolution
* Prepare Journal Entries/ Accruals
* Credit Card US Bank system: issue statements to cardholders and process as an expense report, coordinate payment, reconcile
* Assist/backup in the credit analysis and approval process
* Assist Credit Manager in projects and resolutions for improved processes
* AR Collections (All, 5+, 30+, 60+, etc.)
* Manage Chargeback Resolution Process
* AR scanning to image storehouse backup (chargebacks, disputes, cash app, etc.)
* AR Cash Application backup.
* Provide support to the organization as needed (assistance or copies of invoices)
