HR Business Partner / HR Manager | Northeast Ohio (Onsite)
We’re partnering with a growing early education organization, to hire an HR Business Partner / HR Manager who will play a key role in supporting leadership and improving employee engagement across multiple locations.
This is a highly visible, hands-on HR role where you’ll work directly with leadership to support a growing organization (180 employees) with multiple new centers opening.
What You’ll Do:

Act as a true HR partner to leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development

Lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, investigations, and coaching managers through complex situations

Support and guide discipline and termination decisions

Oversee performance review processes and help build employee recognition programs

Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends to improve retention

Support compliance areas including FMLA, ADA, and workers’ comp
-
Help build and refine HR policies, procedures, and training programs

Spend time onsite at different centers (2-3 days/week) building relationships with staff
What We’re Looking For:
-
5-8 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations
-
Experience in education, healthcare, or another high-touch environment preferred
-
Someone who is warm but direct and comfortable having difficult conversations

Strong relationship-builder who can gain trust quickly with frontline staff

Adaptable and collaborative-able to tailor approach vs. applying a one-size-fits-all mindset
-
Tech-savvy (experience with HRIS systems like Paylocity is a plus)
