Senior Treasury Analyst (Contract)
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 10-12 Week Assignment
Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Analyst to support treasury operations during a critical business period. This hybrid contract opportunity is based in Denver and is expected to last approximately 10-12 weeks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cash management, liquidity forecasting, banking relationships, and treasury operations, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze daily cash positions and liquidity reports.
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor cash balances and funding requirements across multiple accounts.
- Execute wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other treasury-related payments.
- Perform bank account reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Manage banking relationships and coordinate account maintenance activities.
- Prepare treasury reports for management and provide analysis on cash trends.
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Payroll, and Operations teams to improve cash visibility and forecasting accuracy.
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities related to treasury.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and treasury procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within treasury operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, preferred
- 2+ years of treasury, corporate finance, cash management, or related experience.
- Strong knowledge of cash forecasting, liquidity management, and banking operations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
