Our client in the North Dallas area is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their Payroll Department!
The Payroll Specialist will have experience in the following.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Perform payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt employees
- Process payroll across multiple states according to local guidelines
- Maintain payroll records and accounts, including PTO and compliance requirements
- Handle wage garnishments, child support, tax levies, and deductions
- Review and validate payroll data and transactions to ensure timely processing
- Respond to internal inquiries and provide dispute resolution for payroll processing
Requirements:
- 2+years of payroll processing experience
- Large Payroll software experience (UKG/UltiPro, Workday, ADP, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
