Our client, a prominent global law firm, is seeking a Senior Manager of Partner Recruiting to join its New York City office. This highly visible position will lead strategic lateral partner hiring efforts across the US, overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle from market mapping and sourcing through onboarding and first-year integration, while partnering closely with firm leadership, practice group leaders, and global stakeholders on growth initiatives. This person will play a key role in shaping recruitment strategy, managing complex partner hiring processes, and supporting the firm’s continued expansion in key practice areas and markets. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in lateral partner recruiting within a mid-to-large law firm environment, along with exposure to partner integration and talent strategy. - Bachelor’s degree, required; J.D., preferred.
- 7+ years of legal recruiting experience within a law firm or professional services environment, required.
- Extensive experience leading lateral partner recruitment initiatives within a mid-to-large law firm, required.
- Experience managing the full lifecycle of lateral partner hiring, including sourcing, onboarding, and integration, required.
- Prior people management experience, required.
- Experience partnering with firm leadership, hiring partners, practice group leaders, and other senior stakeholders on strategic growth initiatives, required.
The salary for this role is $180K-$250K.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
