Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Legal Researcher for a part-time opportunity supporting a leading consulting firm. This position offers 25-30 hours per week and is ideal for an attorney or legal professional who enjoys research, analysis, and working with litigation-related information.
Candidates must be local to the Boston area and willing to work on-site one day per week.
Responsibilities
- Research court dockets and litigation records to identify key case developments and milestones
- Review, organize, and annotate large datasets
- Conduct research on law firms, attorneys, and legal matters
- Analyze findings and prepare concise summaries
- Maintain research databases and records
Qualifications
- JD preferred
- 3+ years of legal research, litigation support, or conflicts experience
- Strong experience with court docket and litigation research
- Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, CourtLink, or similar platforms
This is a non-litigation role that leverages skills typically developed in a litigation environment and is best suited for someone who genuinely enjoys deep research and investigative work.
