What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor a group of engineers and technical leads across multiple focus areas
  • Stay engaged in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code-level reviews when needed
  • Foster a team culture centered on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning

Systems & Platform Ownership

  • Guide the evolution of search platforms, data pipelines, and intelligent workflow systems
  • Drive improvements in scalability, reliability, and overall system performance
  • Support the development of AI-enabled capabilities for data processing and decision support

Delivery & Execution

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across teams by aligning priorities and removing blockers
  • Define clear ownership across services, workflows, and system components
  • Balance new feature development with platform improvements and long-term sustainability

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business workflows into effective technical solutions
  • Engage with users to better understand how systems are used in real-world scenarios
  • Communicate progress, trade-offs, and technical direction in a clear and actionable way

What You Bring

  • Experience leading software engineering teams while remaining technically hands-on
  • Background working with systems such as search platforms, data pipelines, or transactional systems
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-based environments
  • Exposure to building or supporting data-driven or AI-enabled applications
  • Ability to connect technical design with user needs and business processes
  • Comfort operating in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where ownership is expected
Candidates with a mix of individual contributor and leadership experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with modern search approaches such as semantic or vector search
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven features or intelligent automation workflows
  • Familiarity with document processing, OCR, or data extraction systems
  • Experience working on or supporting payment workflows, billing systems, or financial transaction platforms
  • Experience modernizing legacy systems while continuing to deliver new functionality
