About the Opportunity
What You’ll Do
Lead Strategic M&A Technology Programs
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex IT M&A initiatives.
- Coordinate multiple technology and business workstreams to achieve integration and transition objectives.
- Align delivery plans with organizational priorities, timelines, and business outcomes.
- Support post-acquisition integration efforts and separation activities from strategy through execution.
Drive Program Delivery & Governance
- Oversee portfolios of concurrent projects and programs.
- Establish delivery governance, executive reporting, and decision-making frameworks.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, vendor relationships, and timelines.
- Monitor program health and performance through meaningful metrics and reporting.
Partner Across Business & Technology Teams
- Collaborate with business leaders, infrastructure teams, application owners, cybersecurity teams, and external partners.
- Build consensus, facilitate critical decisions, and resolve complex delivery challenges.
- Support organizational change, communications, training, and adoption efforts.
- Foster strong relationships across global teams and partner organizations.
Enable Continuous Improvement
- Promote program management best practices and delivery excellence.
- Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Conduct lessons learned reviews and implement ongoing improvements.
- Mentor project and program professionals while fostering accountability and collaboration.
Success in This Role
What You Bring
- Strong experience leading IT M&A programs, including integrations, carve-outs, divestitures, separations, migrations, and enterprise deployments.
- Typically brings 12+ years of program or project leadership experience within complex enterprise environments.
- Experience leading large-scale technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, business units, and functions.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations.
- Strong background overseeing budgets, resources, vendors, risks, timelines, and governance activities.
- Expertise delivering enterprise-wide implementations and technology transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid delivery approaches and modern IT delivery practices.
- Familiarity with software development, operations, service management, and technology lifecycle processes.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience supporting globally distributed teams and international business operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Nice to Have
- PMP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or comparable project delivery certifications.
- Spanish language proficiency.
- Experience leading cloud, infrastructure, enterprise application, ERP, or HR technology programs.
- Exposure to digital transformation, modernization, and large-scale platform implementations.
- Experience working within multinational organizations supporting multiple geographic regions.
- Background using modern project, portfolio, collaboration, and reporting platforms.
