Talent Acquisition Partner II

Summary

This is an opportunity for an experienced recruiting professional to take meaningful ownership of hiring strategy and candidate delivery across a large, established organization. You’ll partner closely with business and HR leaders to understand talent needs, build effective sourcing approaches, and guide candidates through a positive hiring experience. The role blends hands-on recruiting with consultation, market insight, and process improvement. You’ll have the visibility and autonomy to influence how teams attract and select talent.

About the Opportunity

Join an organization where recruiting is viewed as an important business partnership rather than simply a transactional function. You’ll support hiring across a variety of talent levels while gaining exposure to business leaders, evolving recruiting practices, and multiple sourcing channels.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day recruiting execution with the bigger picture, including talent strategy, hiring quality, process consistency, and candidate experience.

What You’ll Do

Talent Strategy & Hiring Partnership

Help leaders translate business needs into practical recruiting approaches that produce strong hiring outcomes.
  • Partner with hiring leaders and HR to understand workforce needs and establish recruiting priorities.
  • Provide insight on talent availability, recruiting approaches, and candidate-market trends.
  • Balance multiple searches while keeping stakeholders informed and hiring activity moving forward.

Candidate Engagement & Selection

Own key parts of the recruiting lifecycle while creating an efficient and professional experience for candidates.
  • Identify and engage talent across professional, early-career, and specialized candidate populations.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to understand candidates’ experience, capabilities, and alignment with the opportunity.
  • Develop sourcing strategies using channels such as digital platforms, professional networks, universities, technical programs, and recruiting events.
  • Create compelling job postings and communicate effectively with prospective candidates and recruiting partners.

Recruiting Operations & Improvement

Bring structure, insight, and accountability to the hiring process.
  • Use recruiting data and market information to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Help evaluate recruiting resources, events, technology, and external partnerships based on anticipated hiring value.
  • Support accurate candidate documentation and consistent recruiting practices throughout the selection process.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, quality, and stakeholder experience.

Hiring Manager Partnership

Serve as a knowledgeable resource for leaders navigating the recruiting process.
  • Help hiring managers effectively use applicant tracking and recruiting processes.
  • Provide practical guidance around candidate evaluation, documentation, and compliant hiring practices.
  • Build trusted relationships through responsiveness, sound judgment, and clear communication.

What You Bring

Strong candidates will typically bring:
  • Recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or a closely related background, often developed through several years of hands-on experience.
  • Experience managing candidates through multiple stages of a recruiting process.
  • Confidence partnering with hiring managers, HR professionals, and business leaders.
  • Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • The ability to assess information, recognize recruiting trends, and turn data into practical recommendations.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, contemporary sourcing approaches, and common workplace productivity tools.
  • An understanding of fair, consistent, and compliant hiring practices.
  • Good judgment when working with sensitive or confidential information.
  • The ability to independently manage priorities while remaining highly collaborative.
A bachelor’s degree or comparable combination of education and relevant professional experience can provide a strong foundation for the role.

Nice to Have

These experiences can be helpful, but candidates do not need every item to be successful:
  • Experience recruiting across multiple job families or talent levels.
  • Exposure to campus, university, technical-school, or early-career recruiting.
  • Experience developing new sourcing channels or recruiting partnerships.
  • Familiarity with recruiting metrics, talent-market analysis, or hiring process improvement.
  • Experience coaching hiring managers on recruiting technology or selection practices.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means building credibility with hiring leaders while consistently delivering a strong candidate experience. You’ll help teams reach qualified talent through thoughtful sourcing, maintain momentum throughout the hiring process, and use recruiting insights to improve results over time.
You’ll thrive in this opportunity if you enjoy taking ownership, building relationships, solving hiring challenges, and finding better ways to connect talented people with the right opportunities.
