Guidewire Technical Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
Key Requirements:
- This is a technical Guidewire BSA, not just someone who gathers business requirements.
- The strongest candidate should be able to sit between the business and technical teams and comfortably discuss:
- Guidewire → APIs → integrations → data mapping → data flows → testing/UAT
Must Haves
- Strong Guidewire BSA / Technical Business Analyst experience
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter
- Strong Personal Lines Insurance experience Auto and/or Homeowners
- Strong experience with data mapping, including source-to-target mapping and field-level mapping
- Experience creating and interpreting data flow diagrams (DFDs) and other technical artifacts
- Strong understanding of API integrations, including documenting interfaces, data exchanges, and integration requirements
- Ability to analyze system-to-system data flows and integration dependencies
- Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical requirements
- Strong UAT/testing experience, including test scenarios, defect analysis, requirements validation, and business acceptance
- Experience supporting Guidewire implementations, enhancements, integrations, or transformation programs
- Ability to work closely with developers, architects, QA, integration teams, and business stakeholders
Highly Preferred
- Guidewire certification
- SQL experience for data analysis and validation
- Experience with state rollouts / state-specific deviations
- Insurance rating/pricing experience
