Senior Product Manager – Backend Platforms / Integrations
Overview
Seeking a highly technical Product Manager to drive backend platform capabilities and large-scale system integrations. This role focuses on APIs, microservices, and data-driven products supporting multiple systems and channels.
Must-Haves
- Product Management experience in backend/platform environments
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and system integrations
- Experience working with data-heavy systems (transactional + SOR data)
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum (backlog, user stories, sprints)
- Ability to work closely with engineering and architecture teams
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own product roadmap and backlog for backend platforms and integrations
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories
- Drive delivery of integration-heavy, API-driven solutions
- Partner with engineering, architecture, and stakeholders
- Monitor performance, scalability, and system reliability
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS, Docker/Kubernetes
- Exposure to SQL/NoSQL databases
- Background in regulated industries
