We’re partnering with a well‑established insurance services organization to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a 3-4 month temp‑to‑hire opportunity in San Francisco.
Role Highlights:
* Hybrid schedule: 2 days onsite / 3 days WFH
* Own day‑to‑day Accounts Receivable operations
* Serve as primary contact for AR‑related customer inquiries
* Support general accounting activities as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, cash applications, and follow-up
- Serve as the primary point of contact for AR-related customer inquiries
- Monitor aging reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Partner with internal accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate financial records
- Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in accounts receivable or related accounting functions
- Comfortable serving as the primary AR resource (with support and backup available)
- Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset
- Healthcare or insurance industry experience is a plus, but not required
