About the Role

Will design, develop, and implement efficient software systems in support of core enterprise functions using Java, Spring Boot, Docker, AWS Cloud, SOAP, REST and Messaging Service like kafka, SQS/SNS, Azure Service Bus. Analyze each functional requirement and designing the system blueprint using Confluence and draw.io for visual representation. Develop Complex REST APIs with minimum defects using JAVA (version 8 or 17) and Springboot (version 3+). Develop resilient microservices and backend services, ensuring optimized database queries and robust integration with REST. Implement Security features with SOAP and REST services using SAML 2.0 and OAuth 2.0 technologies. Create solutions that encourage asset reusability and contribute to common organizational standards using JavaScript, XML, HTML, JSON. Build test suites using Junits, Mockito, Jersey Test, SOA Test. Cucumber, and Karate. Build reusable font end components and modules using Angular CLI, RxJS, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, JQuery, HTML5 and NgRx Store to streamline development and ensure state consistency. Migrate and integrate inter faces with various internal and external systems, aligning with microservices architecture. Conduct code reviews, perform thorough testing (unit, integration), ensuring accessibility, and adhering to strict security and compliance guidelines. Design schemas, data models, and database architecture to meet application needs. Write complex, optimized SQL/NoSQL queries for data retrieval, insertion, updates, and deletion (CRUD) for different database like oracle, Postgres, db2. Build data pipelines (Extract, Transform, Load) for data migration and analytics.Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GIT, ECR, IBM UCD. Implement containerization (Docker) and orchestration using Kubernetes. Integrate various automated tests (unit, integration, security) into the pipeline. Automate deployments to cloud environments (like AWS). Track CPU, memory, thread usage, I/O, and class loading to spot inefficiencies with the help of monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheous, Graphana, Appdynamics. Investigate production problems to determine the underlying causes (RCA). Detail system architecture, component designs, data models, and integration points for complex features. Document endpoints, request/response formats, authentication, and error codes for REST or other APIs. Create instructions for deploying updates and new features to production environments. Write standards, procedures, and best practices for development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field along with five (5) years of experience in the Software Industry.
