About the Role

Will develop and maintain scalable microservices using Java 8, spring Boot, and RESTful APIs, deploying them on Tomcat and cloud-native platforms such as AWS or Azure. Perform Object-oriented design and analysis to model real-world business scenarios using UML, Sequence diagrams, and Object modeling Principles. Implement REST API interfaces that integrate with cloud-based services and internal systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. Define and enforce API versioning strategies and documentation standards using tools such as Swagger. Build and optimize SQL queries, stored Procedures, and functions for relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle to support large-scale data processing. Utilize Java 8 features such as Lambda expressions, stream and functional interfaces to write efficient, modern and maintainable code. Configure role-based access controls (RBAC) and integrate with enterprise identity providers using OAuth2, JWT for secure access. Maintain backward compatibility across API versions while rolling out iterative features or refactored endpoints in production. Create Mock services for early-stage integration testing using tools like Postman or Mock Server. Set up and manage artifact repositories and dependency management using Artifactory, and Maven. Utilize Java 8 features such as Lambda expressions, stream and functional interfaces to write efficient, modern, and maintainable code. Contribute to front-end development using Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS enabling responsive, user-friendly interfaces. Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker, integrating with CI/CD pipelines powered by Jenkins, UDeploy and GitHub. Develop complex SQL queries, functions, and views in PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB to support high-volume, data-intensive applications. Collaborate with cloud engineers to develop cloud-native applications and ensure seamless deployment and monitoring using tools such as Kubernetes, Kafka, Datadog. Write comprehensive unit tests using Junit and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and performance standards. Analyze client-specific data specifications, map and transform incoming data feeds and coordinate with SMEs to resolve discrepancies from standard product formats. Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute to systems design and implementation using Spring, spring Batch and Drools. Implement logging and monitoring solutions to support observability and facilitate root-cause analysis during outages or performance issues. Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, deployment scripts, and operational runbooks.

Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the Software Industry.
