Location: Mostly remote – 1 day/month on site in Plymouth Meeting, PA

Duration: 6+ month contract

The Project Manager will support coordinated delivery efforts for a large-scale transition of application workloads from legacy data center environments to a public cloud platform. This role focuses on execution support, transition coordination, risk and dependency management, and post-migration stabilization across internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
* Support coordinated delivery efforts for a large-scale migration of 700+ application workloads from legacy data centers to a public cloud platform
* Assist with end-to-end execution activities, including readiness planning, transition events, cutover execution, and post-transition stabilization
* Coordinate activities across infrastructure, application, security, and external service provider teams
* Support workload migration efforts including application moves, rehosting, and legacy environment shutdowns
* Track and manage complex cross-team dependencies, risks, and delivery controls
* Maintain RAID logs, change controls, and delivery governance artifacts
* Support stakeholder communication by distilling technical progress and migration milestones into clear, leadership-level updates
* Assist with vendor and third-party coordination, including migration partners and service providers

Required Experience
* 10+ years of project management experience
* 5+ years of cloud experience, ideally with Microsoft Azure
* Demonstrated experience supporting complex infrastructure initiatives, including large-scale workload migrations and legacy environment shutdowns
* Hands-on involvement with transition execution, cutover planning, stabilization, and post-migration support
* Strong experience managing interdependencies, risks, and delivery controls
* Experience with structured change management and cross-functional stakeholder coordination
* Proven ability to manage medium to large-scale IT projects, including cloud migrations and data center transitions
