Power BI Developer
Overview:
We are seeking a Power BI Developer to support the design and delivery of data-driven reporting solutions. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to transform data into actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and analytics tools.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business users
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
- Build and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs
- Support data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure reliable data delivery
- Work with multiple data sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud platforms
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and scale data solutions
Qualifications:
- Experience with Power BI development (dashboards, reports, visualizations)
- Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation
- Experience with data modeling and data analytics concepts
- Exposure to ETL tools or data pipeline frameworks (ADF, SSIS, Talend, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Azure
- Experience working with stakeholders and gathering business requirements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Power BI tools such as DAX and Power Query
- Experience with data warehousing or large-scale datasets
- Exposure to API integrations or web-based data sources
- Experience within insurance or claims data environments
