Senior Electrical/Computer Engineer | Oldsmar, FL (Onsite)
Seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical/Computer Engineer to lead the design and development of embedded retail security products from concept through production. This role owns product architecture, low-power electronic circuit design, embedded firmware/software development, cloud connectivity, and manufacturing readiness while driving projects on aggressive timelines.
Key Requirements:
- BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of product development experience (concept through production)
- Strong embedded systems expertise (C, C++, RTOS, TCP/IP)
- Experience with microcontrollers, analog/digital circuit design, PCB design, and schematic capture
- Knowledge of networking, databases, cloud-connected products, mobile apps, and web servers
- Proven project leadership and ability to mentor junior engineers and technicians
Ideal Candidate: An experienced embedded systems engineer who can own the full product lifecycle, design reliable low-power hardware and firmware, collaborate across teams, and bring innovative products to market efficiently and cost-effectively.
