Data Warehouse Developer II
Overview
Responsibilities
- Migrate mappings, workflows, sessions, and mapplets from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes and data warehouse solutions.
- Create ETL mapping specifications and technical documentation.
- Perform data analysis, validation, testing, and performance tuning.
- Support requirements gathering and solution design activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and quality assurance procedures.
- Ensure data reliability, integrity, security, and warehouse performance.
- Participate throughout the full software development life cycle.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of data warehouse design and development experience.
- 4+ years working with Informatica PowerCenter.
- 2+ years working with Informatica IDMC.
- Experience migrating PowerCenter assets to IDMC.
- Strong SQL development and data analysis skills.
- Experience with relational databases including Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of data warehouse architecture and integration strategies.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse methodologies.
- Experience with dimensional modeling and slowly changing dimensions.
- Business Objects, Tableau, or other BI reporting tools.
- Mainframe development experience utilizing COBOL and DB2.
- Technical documentation and design specification experience.
Work Environment
- Primarily remote work environment.
- U.S.-based candidates only.
- Long-term engagement with extension potential.
- Occasional onsite attendance may be required if requested.
