Required Skills:
2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst position
Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI
Experience with Python and/or SQL for data exploration, including basic queries and joins
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Ability to quickly learn new subject matter areas such as construction permitting or business licensing
Strong communication skills and the ability to work across both business and technical stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high accountability, fast moving environment
Excellent presentation skills
Desired Skills:
Experience working with permitting, licensing, or regulatory functions.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps for project tracking or workflow management
Prior experience working on process improvement or transformation initiatives
Exposure to public sector or government environments
Description of Role/Responsibilities/Project: Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support enterprise wide process improvement initiatives for one of government client. This Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions and operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI, using Python and/or SQL for data exploration, and translating complex data into actionable insights for both technical and business stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to quickly learn new subject matter areas, and success working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. Experience with permitting, licensing, regulatory functions, process improvement initiatives, Azure DevOps, or public sector organizations is highly preferred.
