Required Skills:
- 2+ years of hands-on Workday analyst experience supporting system functionality
- Experience configuring Workday modules and business processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues independently
- Strong experience working within Workday HCM modules
- Experience managing and prioritizing ticket queues (Jira or similar)
- Experience supporting system enhancements and backlog updates
- Familiarity with HR processes and terminology
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business teams
Desired Skills:
- Experience across additional Workday modules: Recruiting, Time Tracking, Learning, Security
- Testing experience tied to production issues and solutions
- Experience supporting retail environments
Description of Role/Responsibilities/Project:
Our client is looking for a Technology People Analyst to add to their team. They will be supporting the clients Workday portfolio of system enhancements and project work. The individual will be responsible for configuring and maintaining Workday modules, primarily within HCM, while also supporting Recruiting, Time, Learning, Security, Business Processes, and Integrations. Day-to-day responsibilities will be 30% production support and 70% project-based work tied to system improvements and updates. The role requires someone who can independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve Workday issues. The analyst will also support operational initiatives such as store flips and location updates. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Workday, understands HR processes deeply, and can contribute to the team quickly.
