AP Analyst
Location: On-Site
Salary: $70,000-$80,000
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a highly organized AP Analyst to support daily purchasing, vendor management, and accounting-related activities. This role is ideal for someone with a background in operational accounting, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting support who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is critical.
The right candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable managing large volumes of transactions, able to work closely with leadership, and confident learning and navigating ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain purchase orders and vendor records.
- Review invoices and ensure accurate coding and processing.
- Support accounts payable activities, including reconciliations and discrepancy resolution.
- Work with vendors regarding pricing, order status, and billing questions.
- Track purchasing activity and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with reporting, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely processing of orders.
- Research and resolve purchasing, invoicing, and cost-related issues.
- Maintain data integrity within company systems.
- Support ongoing process improvements and operational initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, purchasing, accounting support, or a related function.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with leadership.
- Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a growing and fast-paced environment.
