The Senior UI/UX & Spatial Experience Designer leads the research, design, prototyping, and validation of digital experiences developed through AI and Innovation program.
This role creates intuitive and accessible experiences for enterprise applications, AI assistants, operational dashboards, passenger-facing systems, digital signage, kiosks, maps, spatial-data platforms, and 3D visualizations. The position works directly with engineers and operational stakeholders to convert ideas into implementation-ready products.

- ESSENTIAL TASKS OF THE JOB:
- User Research & Product Design
- Conduct interviews, observations, workshops, and usability testing with employees and operational stakeholders.
- Translate user needs and business processes into journey maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, design requirements, and measurable outcomes.
- Design responsive and accessible interfaces for web, mobile, desktop, kiosk, digital-signage, and operational applications.
- Work throughout the product lifecycle with engineers, solution architects, cybersecurity staff, and business teams to ensure designs are feasible and accurately implemented.
- AI Experience & Workflow Design
- Design user experiences for copilots, conversational interfaces, intelligent agents, recommendations, automated workflows, and human-in-the-loop approvals.
- Clearly communicate AI capabilities, limitations, confidence, source information, required approvals, errors, and escalation paths.
- Design Systems, Accessibility & Data Visualization
- Develop and maintain reusable design components, templates, interaction patterns, documentation, and visual standards for applications.
- Design dashboards, maps, charts, alerts, status displays, and decision-support interfaces for complex operational information.
- Ensure solutions align with branding and applicable accessibility standards, including WCAG and public-sector accessibility requirements.
- Validate designs through usability testing, implementation review, and field observation in real operational environments.
- Spatial Data & 3D Design
- Create high-quality 3D models, environments, animations, and spatial visualizations using Blender and related professional tools.
- Develop visual experiences for terminals, buildings, roadways, transportation networks, passenger flows, digital twins, wayfinding, training, and operational planning.
- Combine GIS, BIM, floor plans, assets, sensor information, and operational data into understandable interactive concepts and visualizations.
- Prepare and optimize 3D assets for web applications, real-time engines, augmented or virtual reality, digital signage, presentations, and interactive prototypes.
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education Level
Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, Architecture, Computer Science, GIS, Game Design, or a related field required. Equivalent professional experience and an advanced portfolio may be considered.
- Experience in Related Field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in UI/UX, product design, interaction design, digital product development, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience designing applications in direct collaboration with software engineers from discovery through production implementation.
- Professional experience with AI-enabled products, enterprise workflows, operational systems, data visualization, or conversational interfaces strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated professional experience using Blender to create 3D models, environments, animations, or spatial visualizations required.
- Unique Expertise/Certification/Registrations
- Advanced proficiency with Figma or comparable interface-design tools, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Blender, including modeling, materials, lighting, rendering, animation, optimization, and asset export.
- Strong understanding of user research, interaction design, information architecture, responsive design, accessibility, design systems, usability testing, and engineer handoff.
- Working knowledge of AI interaction patterns, agent workflows, human oversight, data visualization, GIS, BIM, spatial data, WebGL, Three.js, Unity, Unreal Engine, or comparable technologies preferred.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or comparable frontend technologies sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineers.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating application design, AI workflows, data visualization, and advanced 3D or spatial work.
