Front Desk Coordinator (Contract)
Location: Des Moines, IA (Fully Onsite)
Pay: $23-$26/hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Duration: 2-4 Month Contract with potential extension
Beacon Hill’s client, a well-established and growing real estate organization in the Des Moines area, is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to provide administrative and customer service support during a leave coverage. This individual will serve as the face of the office, creating a welcoming experience for visitors, clients, and internal team members while supporting day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, agents, clients, and vendors.
- Greet guests and maintain a professional, welcoming office environment.
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Assist with check drop-offs, paperwork processing, and administrative support for agents.
- Coordinate conference room setup, meeting preparations, and office hospitality.
- Support office events and employee gatherings.
- Handle incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Assist with maintaining office technology platforms and equipment.
- Provide general administrative and office support as needed.
- Help ensure common areas remain organized and presentable.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, administrative assistant, customer service, or office support role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, polished, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
